Bombay, the city of Salman Rushdie.

Bombay is located in the west of India, in the Arabian coast. It's the capital of Maharashtra.

Bombay is the most populated city of India, and the second all over the world. There you can find a lot of wealth, but there is a lot of poverty too, so there is a big contrast. It has got the biggest film industry in the world.


Some landmarks are :
  •  the Railyard of Chhatrapati Shivaji
  • Aurangabad mausoleum
  • The Cave Temples of Elephanta

   Other things that you can do are eat and go shopping. You can taste a delicious kebabs or the spicy curry, but you can taste Chinese or Iranian food, because there are a lot of Chinese and Iranian restaurants. And what if you are vegetarian? Don't worry, you'll find many vegetarian restaurants there, because they are very popular. But what about going shopping? Well, if you love going shopping, you should go to one of the many bazaars that there are. In the bazaars, there are almost everything, but the commonest things you can buy there are handmade, and they are very impressive.
